For example, every pilot participates in a promotion structure which recognises seniority through building of hours and addition al accreditations. We even recognise the seniority you bring in from other airlines. Community

Thomson Virtual has a great community of online pilots. All of our pilots have share the same love of flight and flight simulation. We have an active forum where our pilots exchange news and views, offer advice to each other and participate in the popular monthly screen shot competition. All of the screen shots used in our pilot resource center where created by our pilots! We are a very friendly virtual airline and whilst flying on Vatsim its not uncommon to see another TOM call sign and received a friendly "Hi" private message!

| Flight bookings service allowing you to advertise your flights to show other pilots where you will be. The system is also fully integrated with VRoute which books your flight directly into the VRoute booking system making it visible to many other pilots and air traffic controllers. Now integrated with both the Thomson Airways schedules, it is also fully connected to our superb booking system. Flight plans can be downloaded into FTS meaning that they don't have to be re-typed. This makes it very quick and easy to set up your flights. |

Flight Tracking Software
|

Thomson Virtual provides its own custom in house flight tracking and ACARS software called FTS which now offers seamless logging of your flights. Launched in August 2007 FTS proved immediately beneficial and popular with our pilots. You use FTS whilst you fly to monitor your flights and when completed provide a detailed pilots report (PIREP).
